Meat says farewell to Las Vegas… so what’s next?

Meat Loaf’s third residency came to a close on Saturday 21st June and as with his previous residencies, the show was a success with fans visiting his Facebook page to share their experiences of the show. The Iconic Meat Loaf’s Resident Reviewer Caryl Burton describes the show as the “show Meat was born to do” and many others enjoyed the mix of storytelling, humour and the performances of Meat’s most well-known songs.

So what’s next for Meat?

Las Vegas may be over but there’s a lot more in the pipeline for Meat and his fans to look forward to…

  • Meat is going to be hard at work to get his newest studio album completed for its scheduled release in 2015. The much-anticipated album will be a collaboration with Bat Out of Hell songwriter Jim Steinman and will be called Braver Than We Are.
  • Meat Loaf has mentioned that he is planning to do a final tour of the USA. At present, it is not clear where he will be taking this tour or which songs will be included in the set but we would expect more information to be released nearer the time.
  • Meat has also suggested that he will be bringing the Las Vegas show to a theatre in London’s West End. As with the US tour that we have mentioned above, there is no further information on locations or dates for this but again, we expect more information to be released in due course.
